Charlotte Snowdon – Director
Joining our cross-sector, or peer action learning set is a confidential, dynamic way to work together to solve problems, discover solutions and move the people in your organisation (and yourself) forward. Working together to solve problems enables leaders in HR, L&D, Talent or OD to feel revived and freshly motivated.
This particular set will be facilitated by our director, Charlotte Snowdon. Charlotte has spent a decade crafting various learning programmes to develop leaders, up-skill new managers, support organisational restructures and cultural changes. She uses action learning as a critical embedding tool to support individuals implement, adopt and embrace new mindsets & behaviours that deliver performance results. She is perfectly placed to facilitate this set coming from an L & D roles in the corporate environment.
We are bringing together a handpicked action learning group or “set” of five to eight leaders in HR, L&D, Talent or OD, from a diverse range of complementary organisations and businesses. We ensure a balance of status, responsibility and experience. We never bring together rivals, competitors or unsuited cultures.
Participants are being selected from commercial, public, voluntary sector and arts organisations. Cross-sector set participants always report substantial personal and organisation benefits from the cross-fertilization, as well as the benefits of expanding their networks. See some feedback from our cross sector, cross-organisational sets here. Some of our sets still meet regularly, several years later.
Life-changing in that I took action after presenting to the group and my work life has improved dramatically. The training has also made me more aware of personal initiatives that can be taken to improve relationships on a daily basis. I listen more and am more reflective before acting.
Cross-sector set programmes take place according to the availability of all participants and are scheduled regularly. Each session is approximately 3 hours, spaced around 6-8 weeks apart. Once the selection process is complete, there will be a taster session and then a series of 6 sessions scheduled. Please get in touch using the form below to express your interest in joining this set and with any questions.

Being part of an ongoing action learning set gives senior learning and development professionals the space to think and reflect outside of their usual working environment. Set members commonly find solutions to challenges including divided teams, cross-functional conflict, poor leadership and motivation, high staff churn, office politics and more. Participants benefit personally in their roles and take away solutions from dealing with lack of management buy-in to demonstrating ROI for their programmes. They also benefit from fresh new ideas from others in the set.
