8th – 10th October 2024 – Action Learning Facilitator Training for Individuals (virtual) – 1 space remaining

The course

The fee includes a workbook with materials for you to reproduce or adapt for your own work and on-going support to help you develop your skills as an action learning facilitator. Please email us if you would like more information.

Booking a place

Courses are limited six participants but we need a minimum of four to enable the course to run. The fees are £1,895 + VAT for the corporate sector and £1450 + VAT for sole trader, public, arts and voluntary sectors.  Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and we will confirm whether the course will go ahead as soon as we are able, in any case no later than two weeks before the start date.

Places are secured by a payment of:

• corporate companies – the full amount of £1895 + VAT
• sole traders, public, voluntary & art sectors – a non-refundable deposit of £500 + VAT followed by the balance no later than six weeks before the start of the course. All fees must be paid in full prior to the course date.

We are happy to accept payment by BACS or cheque. If you wish to pay by credit card we will send you a Wise invoice for the full fee which is payable at the time of booking. Please indicate on your booking form how you would like to pay. We will hold a provisional place for you whilst your payment is being processed and your booking will be confirmed once we have received cleared payment.

Course times

Virtual courses:

4 sessions of 6 hours, 10am – 4pm with tea/coffee breaks and a break for lunch.

In person courses:

Courses generally run from 9.45am for a 10.00am start until 6.00pm (Day 1), 9.15am for a 9.30am start until 6.00pm (Day 2), 9.15am for a 9.30am start until 5.00pm (Day 3) but these times can be subject to change.

Advanced learning programme

Course participants can further their skills through our Advanced Programme in Action Learning Facilitation (ILM Recognised). We believe your skills can be further advanced with continued opportunity to develop your practice and learning so the process involves producing an assessed reflective learning log and attending an additional development day, usually around six – nine months (ideally no more than a year) after the training. These sessions provide an opportunity for peer support and are a valuable way to reflect on your learning and share experiences with other practitioners. For overseas participants we are also able to offer advanced learning by virtual action learning.

Our advanced learning programme is entirely optional; you do not need to commit to attend at the same time as booking the course.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations must be received in writing by email to info@actionlearningassociates.co.uk. Deposit payments are non-refundable. If you cancel after paying the full fee, or within 4 weeks of the course, we can only refund the balance of the fee if we are able to find a replacement. This is because courses are experiential with a limited number of participants so any late cancellation can affect the learning experience for other participants.

There will be no charge if a substitute person from the same company/organisation wishes to replace the original booking.

ALA reserves the right to alter any of the course content, change the person delivering the course, and, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel a course at any time without liability. In such circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
