In 2014 she moved to Myanmar, where she co-founded Synergia – Consulting & Training. Since then, Synergia has implemented over 40 projects for a range of international organisations, the private sector and public sector. Alicja’s main areas of expertise are: business development and management, project management, conducting research and assessments, as well as identifying and creating opportunities and partnerships for economic empowerment.
She developed strong expertise in people’s management and development, building their capacity, encouraging clear communication, trust and an environment of openness enabling personal risk taking, as well as peer-to-peer learning.
Being a member and/or leader of international teams, led her to conclude that people, and their development in view of achieving better results, are at the core of her professional motivation. It is in this context she expanded her professional career to support organisations, teams and leaders in identifying solutions to the current challenges and build strategies to achieve the organisational, team and individual goals.
Alicja has a solid experience in conducting organizational assessments (UN agencies, non-for-profit organisations, education institutions) identifying gaps and limitations that affect organisational and team performance. She addresses such challenges with Action Learning, with the aim to unlock human potential, change thinking patterns, build practical leadership skills, as well as high performing and collaborative teams across the organisation.
She has facilitated Action Learning sessions with international organisations, private sector companies and foundations, as well as start-ups.
