LaToyah McAllister-Jones is an experienced facilitator and leadership coach with over 20 years of leadership across the social and cultural sectors. As an Associate at Action Learning Associates, she works with senior leaders and executive teams, designing and facilitating action learning sets that foster strategic thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and transformational growth.
LaToyah has delivered action learning with a diverse range of leaders, including Global Majority leaders navigating systemic barriers, Clore Social Leadership development cohorts, and senior executives across the social sector. These interventions support leaders to tackle complex challenges, reflect deeply on their practice, and translate insights into meaningful organisational change.
Her leadership experience spans operational, strategic, and governance roles, including Executive Director of St Paul’s Carnival, where she reshaped the organisation’s strategy to drive creative leadership and civic engagement, and Deputy Chair of Bristol Old Vic. She also co-founded Lumen Space, a wellbeing initiative integrating reflection, creativity, and personal development, and served as Associate Non-Executive Director at North Bristol NHS Trust.
Grounded in a commitment to social justice, equity, and amplifying underrepresented voices, LaToyah helps organisations build psychologically safe learning environments, navigate complexity, and embed sustainable change through action learning.
A highly experienced action learning facilitator La Toyah has designed and delivered a multi-agency, pan-London programme of action learning sets for outreach teams working with rough sleepers – part of the Ending Rough Sleeping 2012 strategy. As part of the Faculty for Year Here she has also delivered action learning sets for programme Fellows. With considerable experience working in the homelessness sector she has also delivered a programme of action learning for senior managers in St Mungo’s to support them through a major restructure and time of change. La Toyah trained in Time To Think techniques and has used this training to enhance her facilitation skills and likes to facilitate sets in a fluid way that is responsive to group needs whilst ensuring clarity and focus.
