Cindy, BA (Hons), MSc is at her best getting alongside others to enable growth and collaboration through focussed inquiry, deep listening, and sensitive challenge. Her approach to working with clients and stakeholders is founded on curiosity and joint exploration to which she brings rigour and responsiveness, underpinned by a keen critical perspective and mission clarity.
Cindy is obsessive about potential but anchored in pragmatism, and she’s a passionate believer that important work doesn’t have to be ‘hard work’. She actively seeks to foster creativity and innovation and has considerable experience of self-managed and experiential learning, and body-based practices (yoga, embodiment). She holds a commitment to celebrating diversity, respecting multiple intelligences and leveraging difference in complex environments.
Action Learning was Cindy’s first foray into deliberately developmental activity, over 15 years ago and she soon trained as a facilitator with ALA in 2009. Whether online or face to face, Cindy experiences supporting individuals to finds ways through intractable issues, and developing insight, skills and understanding within the Set at the same time a total privilege.
She has worked with multiple pan-organisation Sets as part of leadership and capability building programmes across education, health, creative and cultural and other sectors and in-house groups in health, social care, research and voluntary sector contexts. She has also been deeply involved in Learning Sets supporting self-managed learning-led qualifications.
Most recently Cindy has been supporting Clinical Directors and other senior healthcare staff to navigate their challenges, experience support and nourishment and build mutual understanding across clinical and managerial roles.
