Training to be an action learning facilitator has just gone virtual

Managing Director, Ruth Cook, will deliver ALA’s pioneeering new virtual course

ALA has just launched a pioneering new course in action learning facilitation which is delivered entirely virtually –ideal for international participants and those who want to specialise in virtual facilitation.  No experience necessary- participants can learn the skills of facilitating both face to face and virtual action learning sets and complete the course with optional ILM accreditation.

In designing this innovative new course Managing Director, Ruth Cook has drawn on the company’s considerable experience of delivering action learning facilitation training in the UK and internationally.  In recent years ALA has facilitated virtual action learning for sets for international organisations such as Oxfam, International Creative Entrepreneurs and the British Council as well as running virtual training support and accreditation sessions for Heineken International’s global operating companies and British Council Australia.  Commenting on the new course Ruth Cook said “We are excited to be offering this pioneering new approach to facilitator training.  We will continue to run regular action learning facilitator training courses in London but we hope this new course will appeal to international markets, to those who want to concentrate on virtual action learning and to those who find travel to London difficult.”
Participants on ALA’s open training courses can gain the skills of virtual facilitation through a short add on course after their face to face training.
