Last November, Ruth Cook hosted a webinar called Best Practice in Facilitation. It was extremely popular, and included a Q&A session during which we received far more questions than Ruth had time to answer.
So, to set the record straight, we are going to take those questions, and more, live on the webinar, and delve deeper into the art of great facilitation.
Specifically, we will cover 4 topics:
- Emotional tone – how to manage energy and level of participation in the room
- Contracting in facilitation – ensuring clarity of aims
- Facilitation styles and cultures
- Facilitation tools e.g. De Bono’s 6 hats – what are they and when should they be used?
This session is for you if you want to hone your facilitation skills to run better meetings, to facilitate group discussions with confidence, and improve your existing skills.
You will end the webinar with a thorough understanding of the role of a facilitator so that you can be confident you are adding value in this capacity.
The webinar takes place on 16th March 2020 at 2.30pm – 3.15pm GMT and you can register for your place here.
Your host is Sonja Antell and she will also explain some of the similarities and differences between general facilitation and action learning, to give you an insight into the benefits of both.
Book now, we hope you can join us.
