Facilitator training course supports environmental cause

Daisy Bland, Director at Action Learning Associates, was delighted with the feedback received from Engineers without Borders UK recently. This was a pilot scheme for Engineers without Borders UK whose strategy is to provide a strong persuasive plan to put global responsibility at the heart of engineering. By 2030, they aim to build a movement of over half a million people, powerful enough to radically transform the culture of engineering.

Daisy joined the Action Learning Associates team as a director in 2021 and compliments Ruth, Sonja and their extensive bank of associates offering a varied and comprehensive skill set to their clients. Her studies in neuroscience, psychotherapy and mindfulness, and years of experience working frontline in social care, inform and deepen her practice. She has worked most extensively in the non-profit sector, housing sector, UK creative industries, social care and NHS mental health services.

Her previous clients also include respected corporates such as Sony, M&C Saatchi and Sky. Says Daisy;

“It’s such a good course to run, and for such a great movement, I’m pleased to be able to support them in developing the skills to facilitate many more action learning sets in the future.”

Based on the comments received from the course attendees, it looks likely that they will be working with Action Learning Associates again in the future.
