Action Learning Associates provides training in facilitation core skills to help you develop the techniques and confidence to become an effective group facilitator.
As with our action learning facilitator training, the course is a lively mix of input and experience. Our core skills course takes three days so that you can fully explore facilitation. With a maximum of eight people on each course everyone gains first-hand experience of facilitating and receives feedback on their performance. You come away with new insight about what you do well and what you need to do differently as well as new skills and confidence in offering best practice facilitation tools and techniques.
During the training programme we cover:
- meeting client’s needs
- holding groups to task
- building trust
- useful facilitation tools and techniques
- evaluating outcomes
We provide resource material and handouts for you to reproduce or adapt in your own work.
