Some of you may recall we chose to make a donation to our chosen charity Positive Action in Housing in lieu of Christmas cards last month.

The Scottish charity provides support and much needed supplies to asylum seekers and refugees fleeing war torn regions. As 2015 was a very busy year, with a huge demand for their services, it feels right that they receive as much support as possible.

And we very much like the way they allow supporters to choose the items they send directly to the refugees currently living in Lesbos.

So we’ve selected the following items which are now well on their way. We’re sure they will be very welcome.

1 pair of men’s trainers
5 thermal survival blankets
2 x warm jogging pants
1 baby buggy with foot muff and rain cover
5 waterproof children’s ponchos

If you’d like to donate items to the refugees too, simply visit their website for more details.
