Action Learning Associates
Stuart Turnbull
Stuart has twenty years of experience as a strategy, transformation and change consultant. He has worked in more than twenty countries in international, public and private sector organisations covering a wide diversity of industries such as finance, IT, telecoms, engineering, consumer goods and development.
Action learning facilitation
Stuart offers extensive facilitation and coaching skills including action learning facilitation. He pioneered the introduction of action learning as a means of helping to retain and develop top talent in the IT sector while working for part of what was to become Fujitsu in the UK. Since then he has gone on to develop his own skills as an action learning facilitator as well as managing a large number of leadership development programmes and other consulting assignments where action learning has played a significant role. Consequently, he has experience of working in action learning sets which include participants from very diverse backgrounds, multi-national sets and sets where English is not the first language of any of the members.
He is a trained facilitator of “virtual” or audio action learning sets, which offer an environmentally-friendly alternative to face to face action learning with a global reach.
