Action Learning Associates
Jane Garnham
Jane has been working in the voluntary sector for over twenty years and over the last four years has been managing her own training and consultancy business. The focus of Jane’s career has been housing and Jane has worked with statutory providers, housing associations and small agencies, to deliver high quality housing and support services to vulnerable people and to supporting the staff who deliver these services.
Throughout this period her work has been characterised by a focus on developing the staff resource, ensuring services operate within an equality and diversity framework and promoting the opportunities for the user’s voice to be heard when planning, developing and managing services.
Jane has a particular interest in the group process and her own experience of action learning in 1998 inspired her to develop skills in action learning set facilitation. She has trained as a counsellor and she brings the qualities of listening, authenticity and reflection to action learning.
Jane is also an experienced trainer who has been an associate with a leading training provider in the housing, care and support sector since 1997. She devises and delivers training for housing and support staff and also to user groups.
Jane is committed to the highest standards of quality in her work and brings professionalism and flair to every contract or project that is commissioned.
