Jackie Draper
Jackie has been a senior manager in the public sector and an occupational advisory service. As a consultant she has many years' experience of working in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Her expertise lies in the fields of organisation development, action learning facilitation, executive coaching, diversity and leadership in the context of change. Her focus is to design learning initiatives that promote sustainable change at the business, team and personal levels.
Action learning facilitation and training
With over 20 years' experience of devising, managing and facilitating action learning programmes for many organisations Jackie is an experienced action learning practitioner and trainer. She designs and facilitates action learning programmes to enhance the individual’s ability to undertake challenging new work and learn how to learn. Her clients have come from financial services, telecommunications, housing associations, local authorities, civil service and the NHS.
Recently she has facilitated a cross-sector senior management public service set (local government, health, charity, and housing) to build capacity for effective partnership working. She is currently acting as a consultant supervisor on a UK government cross-sector health and social services action learning initiative. For many years Jackie facilitated on the Roffey Park/ Sussex University MBA and has also run a three year programme for the NHS graduate development programme. Jackie is an experienced trainer and has trained action learning set facilitators in the UK and in the USA for an international telecoms company.
Coaching
Jackie has also acted as a coach to executives across all sectors and she has developed many individuals to realise their potential and act as powerful role models and leaders in their organisations. For example, Jackie regularly coaches managers in a financial services company to help give greater meaning to their leadership style, increase their profile in a highly competitive environment and act with greater authority in external negotiations.
