Andrew is a managing consultant with wide experience in organisational, people and quality development to achieve service improvement and excellent customer focus.  He is highly experienced at initiating and project managing innovative interventions in the public and private sectors to meet strategic business objectives and drive change.  His experience of managing cutting edge change and development programmes spans central and local Government, banking, Government agencies and the voluntary sector.

Action learning facilitation

Andrew is an experienced action learning facilitator and accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) to deliver action learning facilitator training. He has delivered accredited action learning facilitator training programmes for many organisations including NSPCC, Burton Hospitals NHS Trust, East Midlands Leadership Academy and University of Strathclyde. Among recent projects Andrew has designed and delivered an organisational development programme for the North West Improvement Network which included a series of action learning sets for senior project managers and worked with the Home Office on a national community safety action learning initiative. He also regularly facilitates action learning sets alongside Leadership Programmes for organisations such as the Clore Foundation and Ernst & Young.

Consultancy and leadership development

With an extensive background in organisational development within voluntary sector organisations, local authorities and management consultancies Andrew has been working as an independent consultant for five years. His early experience was in the commercial banking sector, and then in quality development and service improvement with local authorities. He has designed and led assignments but also worked as an interim manager for various clients.

Andrew is the Organisational Development Adviser to, and coach for the Director of the CCJS, an independent charity that informs and educates about all aspects of crime, and the criminal justice system. He has also worked closely with the Orchard Trust, an organisation committed to providing high quality care for people with learning disabilities, where he assisted the staff with introducing work-life balance policies. He designed and delivered a Leadership Programme to Venda, a cloud based e-commerce provider, and has coached the whole leadership team.
